Alentejo, um horizonte de oportunidades "Alentejo, horizon of opportunities"

Chamo-me Peter White, sou jornalista e quero falar-vos do Alentejo, uma imensa e deslumbrante região no sul de Portugal. Já ouviram falar dela certamente! É a terra do Cante Alentejano e de outros patrimónios da humanidade, onde as grandes planícies mergulham nas praias selvagens a sudoeste e se elevam nas montanhas a norte. Alentejo é onde a terra produz uma das melhores gastronomias do mundo, um daqueles lugares onde o tempo caminha sem chegar, como disse o poeta. Tudo acontece no Alentejo mas a um ritmo diferente, como quando se saboreia um bom vinho. Conheci-o em trabalho e as sensações vividas sinto-as ainda na pele, como algo que me é familiar e onde pertenço.

"My name is Peter White, I'm a journalist and I want to tell you about Alentejo, a vast and beautiful region in the south of Portugal. You have heard of it for sure! It is the land of the Alentejo Singing and others world heritages, the land where the long plains plunge into the southwestern wild beaches or rise on the northern mountains. Alentejo is where the soil produces one of the best cuisines in the world, one of those places where time walks without arriving, as the poet once said. Everything happens in Alentejo but at a different pace, like when you taste a good wine. I met Alentejo because of work but the sensations. I felt are still under my skin.
